Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how The III Marketing ("we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information through PostTheMarket at theiiimarketing.com. It covers two groups of people: agents who use PostTheMarket, and homeowners and visitors who use an agent's home-value page or receive an agent's report.
1. Information from agents
- Account details: name, email, phone, brokerage, real estate license number, office address, and password (stored only in encrypted form).
- Uploads: your headshot and logo. We automatically remove your headshot's background.
- Billing: handled by Stripe. We receive your subscription status and the last digits of your card, never your full card number.
- Usage: the reports you create and the templates you choose.
2. Information from homeowners and visitors
When you request a home estimate on an agent's page, we collect:
- your name, email address, and optionally your phone number;
- your property address, subdivision, square footage, and number of bedrooms;
- where you came from (for example, a Facebook post, an email, or a QR code);
- technical information such as your IP address, used to prevent abuse.
We send a one-time code to confirm your email address before showing your estimate.
3. How we use information
- to provide PostTheMarket, including creating reports, posts, emails, and estimates;
- to connect homeowners with the agent whose link they used;
- to send account emails, such as confirmation codes, password resets, and trial reminders;
- to process payments, prevent fraud and abuse, and keep the Service secure;
- to improve the Service.
4. How we share information
- With the agent: if you request an estimate through an agent's link, your name, contact information, property details, and estimate are shared with that agent, who may contact you about real estate services.
- With service providers who help us run PostTheMarket: hosting (Amazon Web Services), payments (Stripe), email delivery and automation (Google and n8n), and market data (realMLS). They may use the information only to provide their services to us.
- For legal reasons: when required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public.
- In a business transfer: if PostTheMarket is sold or merged, information may transfer to the new owner under this policy.
We don't sell personal information, and we don't share it for others' advertising.
5. Cookies
We use cookies only to keep you signed in and to keep the Service secure. We don't use advertising cookies.
6. Emails and unsubscribing
Agents may send you market reports. Every report includes a way to unsubscribe, and we skip unsubscribed addresses when agents email through PostTheMarket. Account emails, like confirmation codes, are sent only when you request them.
7. How long we keep information
We keep agent account information while the account is open, and for a reasonable period afterward for legal, tax, and accounting purposes. Lead information is kept while the agent's account is active, unless you ask us to delete it.
8. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information by emailing support@theiiimarketing.com. Agents can update most of their information on their Profile page. If you're a homeowner, we'll also let the relevant agent know about your deletion request.
9. Security
We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections and encrypted passwords. No system is perfectly secure, though, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
10. Children
PostTheMarket isn't intended for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect children's information.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy and will post the new version here with a new effective date. For important changes, we'll notify agents by email.
